Dr. Theragood prescribes a variety of internal Chinese Herbal Medical formulas to rectify imbalances. She sources these formulas from reputable companies with Good Manufacturing Practices who use quality ingredients: Golden Flower Chinese Herbs, Plum Flower Herbal Formulas, & Evergreen Herbs.

She also produces many topical herbal formulas herself. These formulas are meticulously made from raw herbs which are sourced locally whenever possible and are processed according to guidance from ancient Chinese medical texts and adapted to modern practices.

“Hit & Fall” Liniment

THE FIST is a powerful liniment for healing traumatic injuries (bruises, sprains, breaks, joint pain, etc.), based on a traditional Chinese herbal formula classically made for martial artists, with some special modifications. It includes over 20 Chinese herbs many of which have analgesic, antibiotic, and anti-inflammatory properties.

It reduces pain, increases circulation, & accelerates healing. This formula was carefully & lovingly prepared by two national board-certified Doctors of Oriental Medicine: Dr. Lara Theragood and dear friend Dr. Jean Loscalzo of RareBird Acupuncture. The process included the classic preparation of the raw herbs: application of heat, grinding to powder, dry frying, etc. It is aged almost 5 years.
